Squier by Fender Stratacoustic, originally uploaded by bob.digga.

I finally got another acoustic guitar. From the title you can painfully see it’s made by Fender’s cheaper brand name company, Squire. Doesn’t bother me any. Still plays like it should. I may end up getting new strings and having it set up by a professional @ Alto’s or Steve’s Music Center, but that’s really about it. Otherwise it will do the job for me just fine.

We all wondered where he goes after you get cheap-o’d by a koopa. Well here is your answer. They just fall off the screen & rot. Makes you wonder how the Princess feels about all this. Kinda makes her look like a strait up whore too…

Bombproof gadgets: Our most trusty technology - Crave at CNET.co.uk
There’s no two ways about it: the original Game Boy is one of the hardest gadgets ever conceived. Rumour has it this beige behemoth isn’t made of plastic, but from the skulls of fallen Gurkhas. If you ever saw one that was broken, it’s because it lost a boxing match with a nuclear bomb — on points.

It was big, heavy, and the only colours it could show were black, green, and the blood of its victims. But it remains the only thing I’ve never cackhandedly broken. We were going to do a gag at the end of this feature where I endorse a massive pile of broken tech, but Game Boy has defeated me. Damn him. -Rory Reid

That’s right folks, the original green screen gameboy. i wonder what ever happened to mine? Probably at the gym somewheres getting huge off steroids and plasmavol. Wish i still had that thing. It had some good games on it. Namely Tetris & Super Mario Land. Those were some good games back then.

More Chuck Norris facts can be found here. Let’s just hope that Chuck doesn’t come to your house and kick your ass, all while taking your Mountain Dew.

That commercial was one of the best [if not the best] commercial from last night’s superbowl ad set. Shit was just too funny, especially being 95% of us watching the big game were highly intoxicated @ the time.

Several readers have written to tell us about one users rant in which he tells the story of being so frustrated with gaming on Windows Vista that he tried comparing gaming on Vista to that on Linux using Wine, with surprising results. “This post is clearly a bit biased. What shocked me though was how easy it was to find games that didn’t run under Vista but did in Linux by using Wine or DOSBox. I’m not a huge gamer, so I don’t have a huge collection of games to try out, but even still with just a few hours of frustrating work, I have been able to show that not only is Linux a reasonable alternative to Vista for gaming (XP is still king though), but also that Linux handles application failures more gracefully than Vista. Every game but Blackthorne crashed my Vista box, this didn’t happen a single time under Linux.”
