best buy now offering trade in's on hd-dvd players

And yes folks, that is the bone they decided to throw ol’ digga. Forty three meesley [sp?] dollars. I think i would be better off launching this goddamn thing from a skeet [clay bird] shooter. Maybe everyone involved would get more enjoyment if we were to go that route.

I know I jumped on the hd wagen a little bit too early [and fucked up by choosing the side that lost too] but black friday deals are just too good to pass up. At least that’s what the media says. I don’t know what the hell I was doing listening to the media in the first place anyways. As always, I should have waited and suffered through standard definition dvd’s for another year or so. Blu-ray players are going to be dropping in price come the holiday season. Maybe it will be $50 bucks or so, but its still better than paying $400 for a new player. I would love to go out & buy a PS3, but i’m not sure if it will upconvert older dvd’s. I just checked, & here is the answer I recieved from Yahoo! Answers: “As long as you have firmware 1.80 or higher it will upconvert dvds and ps2/ps games to your tvs max hd output.”

That answers that question I guess. Maybe I will have to invest in a PS3 after the wedding if the funds permit.

So back to Best Buy, this shit just plain sucks. I guess that’s what I get for choosing a side early, and losing horribly. Maybe I can sell the 10 hd-dvd movies I aquired on eBay.
