Everyday I think about picking up my bass and forgetting to put it back down. I (attempt) to play bass if you weren't aware. I also dabble in drums on occasion. I have the capability to record, I just lack the motivation. It's also quite hard when I get mandated to work overtime at least 3x per week. By Friday I am shot, and just want to curl up in a ball and metaphorically die on my couch until Sunday evening.
A while back I ended up getting a tattoo on my dominant hand (R). I went with this specific one, because every time I look at it, I remind myself that I should be doing something with my life musically. If you happened to be thinking that I forgot to post the tattoo, you are on the wrong side of correct. Felt like I had to get the words out of my head first. Anyway, here it is... I got it because it's...
I had considered a combined bass/treble clef in the past. When the time came though, that design never passed through my head. It had to be the PoD. I may color it in sometime in the future. It's normally green, and I would add a drop shadow.
Writing this out has helped motivate me some though. I schedule posts ahead of time (Weekends usually) as I don't have the energy during the week. By the time you read this, I assure you that I will have maintained the motivation, and picked up this beast tomorrow morning (It's too late now).
If I am able to motivate myself further, I will take a seat on the Kings throne and kick out the 4/Four on the floor, with this...
It's not on par with my acoustic drum set, but it absolutely gets the job done in my apartment, where noise is a concern at all hours of the day and evening.
I finished this post, and remembered I had saved something to buy at a later date from Facebook. It sums up exactly what music is. Whether you are listening to it, producing it, or performing it, Music is what feelings sound like.
